HVAC technician (m/f/d) for production management

Full time (38,5 h), Ternitz

CLIMA TECH Airconditioners GmbH produces centralised air conditioning units and clean room components in many variants, facets and customer requirements.

While engineering and all product and customer support is carried out in our office in Ternitz, the products are manufactured at Geoclima in Ronchi dei Legionari in Italy. The development of customised solutions for customers from all over the world as well as the development of new tailor-made solutions and technologies form the core business of our company.

To strengthen our team in Ternitz for Engineering we are looking for a HVAC technician for production management and after sales.

Your tasks:

After receiving the order, acceptance of the offer documents
Agreement with the sales team about the system design
Professional and detailed elaboration and design of the system components clarification of open points with the customer
Obtaining offers from suppliers
Compilation of the orders in cooperation with the purchasing department
Creation of production documents, coordination and independent ongoing control of production progress
Creation of documentation, operating instructions, etc.
Partial assistance with device tests and commissioning (in production and/or on the construction site)
Customer contact for project clarification, product advice for the development of technical solutions (in some cases on site at the customer)
Participation in product development and product management
First point of contact for ongoing after-sales inquiries

Your skills:

Self-organized, independent and solution-oriented work
Enjoys overcoming challenges
Enjoying contact with people, also in a different language
Technical training in the air conditioning industry (HTL level, e.g. HTBL Pinkafeld, or master craftsman’s examination)
Enthusiasm for technology
Excellent written and spoken German
Very good knowledge of spoken and written English
Very good IT skills
Willingness to travel approx. 20% (throughout Austria and Europe)
At least 5 years of professional experience in HVAC technology

HVAC technician (m/f/d) for system design and distribution

While engineering and all product and customer support is carried out in our office in Ternitz, the products are manufactured at Geoclima in Ronchi dei Legionari in Italy. The development of customised solutions for customers from all over the world as well as the development of new tailor-made solutions and technologies form the core business of our company.

To strengthen our team in Ternitz we are looking for a HVAC technician for system design and distribution.

Your tasks:

Review and evaluation of customer enquiries
Independent development of ventilation unit design and concept according to customer specifications, as well as design of unit components (fans, heat exchangers, heat recovery systems, etc.) with in-house design software
Customer contact for project clarification, product advice and the development of technical solutions (sometimes on site at the customer’s premises)
As a developer of the project, assistance in the creation of production documents and project documentation
Active customer support and acquisition if required

Your skills:

Successfully completed technical training at an HTL/technical college for ventilation and air conditioning technology (e.g. HTBL Pinkafeld) or comparable
Excellent written and spoken German
Very good written and spoken English skills
Independent and solution-orientated work
Social competence, communication skills and good good manners (customer contact)
Very good IT skills
- Windows 10+
- MS Office
- AutoCAD
- Programming skills (VB.NET) an advantage
Willingness to travel approx. 20% (production in Italy, occasional customer visits throughout Austria and Europe)
Commercial understanding
At least 5 years of professional experience
